Ring for Sarah
The last commission work for the year was a gift for Sarah, who recently moved to Melbourne from South Korea. The ring features two rough sapphires from the client's grandfather's mines in Queensland. To encourage view in a way that the stones sparkle the most, they were set in such a way that they are framed.
This month happens to mark my 20th year since I moved to Melbourne, so it was a lovely coincidence to make this for someone who is also starting a life in Melbourne.
