Engagement Ring for Gavin
Phil handed me a near 2.5ct diamond and told me that I can make anything I design for his girlfriend, who happens to be an extremely talented person with whom I studied design and remain good friends.
Phil told me that what she likes is difficult to explain as they often seem contradictory, and I understood quite well what he was talking about. In response, I designed an engagement ring that was somewhat avant-garde with no correct way up, paired with a somewhat classical wedding ring with a small section of intricate detail featuring black diamonds.
The interior of the engagement ring is laser inscribed with anniversary dates.
